It’s a perfect cup of morning tea. The shorter and thinner shape will be more easily soaked out great flavor in the brewing process. You can feel mellow and smooth in every sip. It’s a mild flavor and the faint sweetness will slowly appear when savoring carefully.
The most common methods of pine needle tea are boiling and braising tea.
- Boil with water: first wash the pine needles, put 600ml of water, boil them in a casserole or stainless steel vessel, and boil them to 300ml of water (about 10-15 minutes).
- Braised tea: wash pine needles and put them into a hot water bottle to pour boiling water, and then simmer for half an hour. Generally, pine needles can be boiled for several times, each time with different taste and composition, and can be used as a substitute for tea. It doesn’t need to be fried too thick. The dosage is about the same as that of tea.
